Sharon Osbourne has indicated that she's washing her hands of novelty acts on The X Factor 2017, vowing to be "tougher" with this year's contestants.
The last series of the ITV talent contest infamously saw Sharon work with North Weezy's finest rapper, Honey G.
Sharon originally cut Honey at the Six Chair Challenge, but brought her back after Ivy Grace Paredes was forced to leave the competition.
Honey made it to the live shows, but faced increasing criticism each week until she was finally eliminated at the quarter-final.
Now it seems Sharon has had quite enough of the so-called 'joke' contestants, as she's vowed to avoid "extreme characters" this time around.
"I’m tougher this year," she insisted. "It’s everyone’s reputation on the line when you are sat there.
"When you’re backing someone, like backing a three-legged horse, it’s your reputation up there too at the end of the day.
"I’ve done my fair share of extreme characters, I just can’t do it again."
However, personality is still key on The X Factor - and Sharon is said to have sent home several acts with good voices but zero charisma.
"You have to have a bit of everything. You’ve got to be able to entertain, to connect with an audience," she commented.
"You can stand up there and have the best voice in the world, but if you don’t show anything, if you’re blank, it’s nothing."
The X Factor 2017 begins this Saturday and Sunday at 8.00pm on ITV.
