The new series of The Crystal Maze is back on TV again tonight – but how can you enter The Crystal Maze yourself?

Thanks to The Crystal Maze experience, you can now see if you can do better than those you’ve watched on the telly.

Based in London and Manchester, The Crystal Maze Experience allows teams of up to eight to compete at a time.

They say:

The ultimate team challenge, in which you and your friends face challenges testing your skill, mental and physical ability across four adventure time zones: Aztec, Industrial, Futuristic and Medieval.

For each challenge completed your team will earn a Crystal. The more Crystals you earn, the more time you’ll get in the final challenge – The Crystal Dome!

Star of the IT Crowd Richard Ayoade fronts a new series of the classic gameshow which is back tonight on Channel 4 on Sunday at 8PM.

The upcoming batch of programmes feature seven more teams of everyday adventurers hoping to “crack the crystal”, including a posse of midwives, a group who met on jury service, a team who became friends at deaf school and an AC/DC tribute band from Newcastle.

As always, the contestants must navigate the Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Future zones of the maze.

They will face a range of skill, mystery, physical and mental challenges to win crystals that equate to time in the final test – the legendary Crystal Dome.

The order of 12 episodes also includes six celebrity specials in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

The series is filmed at The Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol, where a purpose built maze spanning over 30,000 square feet is being created by the original Crystal Maze designer, James Dillon (The Mighty Boosh, The Royle Family).
