Channel 4's Catching a Killer tonight follows the case of the so-called Wind In The Willows Murder.
It's the second episode in a major new series following the work of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit.
A murder investigation is launched when, in the centre of historic Oxford, a man is found dead in his doorway. There are no suspects, no witnesses and no sign of forced entry.
Adrian Greenwood, a 42-year-old antiquarian book dealer, is dead, stabbed over 30 times in his own home in a frenzied and brutal attack with no apparent motive.
Greenwood had built up a reputation throughout his short life as an exceptionally talented book dealer. He had bought and sold early editions of Harry Potter and came to media attention following the sale of a rare piece by Banksy in 2011.
The pressure is on Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown and his team to discover who killed Greenwood and one of their first clues is a £50,000 early edition of The Wind in the Willows.
With unprecedented access to Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, this episode of Catching a Killer - The Wind in the Willows Murder - follows all the twists and turns of this real-life crime.
The answers, as they start to emerge, paint a shocking picture of the perpetrator: Michael Danaher, a man whose life has fallen apart.
With extraordinary access to the minute-by-minute police investigation, the programme also follows the perpetrator's family as they learn the devastating truth about what has happened, with Danaher sent down for a minimum of 34 years.
Catching a Killer: The Wind In The Willows Murder airs at 9PM tonight on Channel 4.
You'll be able to watch the show on catchup on All4 after it airs.
