Simon Cowell has become the latest judge to miss auditions on The X Factor 2017.
The show music didn't make it to all of try outs in London this week after coming down with an illness.
The Sun reports Simon left fellow judges Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger to it on Tuesday morning.
"Simon didn’t feel well early in the day so had to have a bit of a slower start to the day than usual," a source said. “But he felt a bit better as Tuesday went on so decided he would attend after all.
“Nicole really stepped up to the plate without Simon there and everyone said she absolutely dominated — but in a good way.”
Simon is the third judge after both Sharon and Nicole to miss some of this year's auditions.
However in both the previous cases, Alesha Dixon has stepped in as a guest judge.
The current Britain's Got Talent judge last week took over for Sharon at auditions in Edinburgh.
A spokesperson for The X Factor explained: “Unfortunately, Sharon is suffering from niggling back problems following surgery earlier in the year and will be unable to take part in the Edinburgh auditions.
"Alesha will be guest judging on the panel today.”
Alesha also stood in for Nicole last month when she was unable to make auditions in Manchester due to a 'diary clash'.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Everyone is gutted that Nicole won’t be joining them, but Alesha has a wealth of experience from her role on BGT and her own pop career so will do a great job filling in.”
A spokesperson for The X Factor confirmed: “Alesha is guest-judging for the first day of the Manchester auditions as Nicole is unable to film that day due to a previous diary commitment.”
The X Factor 2017 will start on ITV later this year with the air date usually at the end of August.
