The beautiful, haunting shores of Scotland’s most Loch Ness is the stunning backdrop for new six-part drama The Loch.
In a community nourished and sustained by myth and bordered by untamed nature, the search for a serial killer becomes a matter of life and death for local detective Annie Redford who is trying to cope with her first murder case.
The Loch cast
The Lock cast stars acclaimed actors Laura Fraser (Houdini and Doyle, The Missing, Peter & Wendy), Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley, Benidorm, Downton Abbey) and John Sessions (Upstart Crow, Florence Foster Jenkins, The Rack Pack) .
They will take leading roles in the new series alongside Don Gilet (Brief Encounters, Holby City, EastEnders), Gray O'Brien (The Daniel Connection, Titanic: Blood and Steel, Coronation Street) and William Ash (The Tunnel, Moving On, Death in Paradise).

In tonight's final episode, further to Alan’s grim discovery, Quigley and Annie watch the body being pulled from the water.
Quigley tells Annie to find out what Mhari knows about Dessie. Mhari is point blank refusing to believe anything she is being told.
It’s revealed to Annie that Craig Petrie visited the house the day of the events at the dam and could have been involved. Mhari breaks down and begs her friend to uncover the truth.
The man dragged from the loch is identified and has a photograph in his wallet linking him to someone in Lochnafoy.
Meanwhile Kieran, having survived serious injuries has recovered in hospital and is discharged. Evie is there to help him. The pair grow ever closer, united by their grief and trauma.
Despite being off the job, Albrighton continues to obsess over evidence and he risks his life to prove he’s right.
With Albrighton in danger, Annie is on her own, on the shores of the loch, in desperate pursuit of the killer as he closes in on his latest victim.
The Loch concludes at 9PM on ITV tonight on July 16.
