Liam Payne says he won't be releasing music with partner Cheryl.

The couple - who recently welcomed their first child together - are both working on new songs.

But a duet won't be happening, with Liam telling The Sun newspaper: “I think sometimes those things can go a bit cheesy. We’re not going to do the Katie Price and Peter Andre."

He added: “She wouldn’t have me anyway. She’d kick me off. I’m lucky to be here still.”

Cheryl and Liam first met when Liam was 14 and auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 and recently Liam took a trip down memory lane while on the Graham Norton show.

"She doesn't like to talk about this," Liam admitted as Graham brought up the clip.

However the clip wasn't going to go away, as Liam revealed how he got stick from his pals at the time for his wink to Cheryl.

"And now we've got a baby Bear!" he quipped.

Meanwhile, Liam has revealed he and Cheryl have already spoken about having another child.

He told the Daily Mirror: “We have spoken about this.

“We will see what happens."

And Liam spoke of being a dad for the first time: “Being home for bathtime is just the most amazing thing. We do bathtime together.

“I’m in charge of bath water and cooking.”
