ITV is reportedly planning a new Love Island style contest to find the ultimate 'lad'.
The show will apparently be a cross between Love Island and classic game show Gladiators.
And this new show's supposed name? Ladiators, of course.
According to the Sun newspaper, the reality / game show hybrid will see contestants tested on everything from their strength to 'laddish' behaviour, whatever that means exactly.
Oh, and that's not all.
The lads' girlfriends will also get involved in the antics, while an as yet undecided"glamorous female host" is set to front the whole thing.
A source told the tabloid: "Gladiators was a huge hit back in the day so producers have constantly been finding ways they can bring it back in one form or another."
They explained the thinking behind the idea: "“Being a lad has almost become a bit of a business with reality TV stars like Joey Essex and Geordie Shore’s Gaz Beadl hailed as the ultimate lads. So TV producers wanted a tongue-in-cheek series that embraces lad culture."
The insider added: “Ladiators will be a funny entertainment series and is certainly going to appeal to the Love Island fans as the couples appearing on the show will be very fit, sexy and have the stamina to take on the challenges.”
