X Factor winner Matt Terry has been teasing fans with work on his debut album.
Fresh from The X Factor live tour which concluded in March, Matt has been flying across the globe to record songs for his record.
And he's been sharing every step of the way on Twitter with his followers, teasing this past week: "Albums coming along nicely 🙏🏼 I've been working so hard writing it and cannot wait for you all to hear it !! Love you all 🙌🏼❤️"
Meanwhile, in a Facebook Q&A, Matt said he hoped to get his debut album out later this year.
He explained: "Hopefully it'll be out before the end of the year, I've got so much material.
"I've been in the studio since the end of the show and I have lots of songs I've written, but there's still so much more I can write about."
Matt has partnered up with RCA Records to put out his winner's album rather than Simon Cowell's Syco record label.
"Each label suits an artist differently,” Matt said previously of the unusual move for an X Factor winner. “We just felt RCA would suit me better as they have put amazing people out there such as Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and Olly Murs."
Matt continued: “However, Simon said if I ever needed him, I could speak to him.
“He’s a lovely guy.
“Simon gave me this amazing opportunity so I’ll always be grateful to him.”
Matt's debut single - original song When Christmas Comes Around written by Ed Sheeran and Amy Wadge - peaked at Number 3 in the charts when it was released after last year's final.
