Scarlett Moffatt is hoping to find love on her new dating show, coming to Channel 4 soon.
Former Goggleboxer Scarlett will be fronting a revived series of Streetmate, which was previously hosted by Davina McCall.
Newly single Scarlett tweeted this week: “I’m hoping when I present Streetmate I can find a date for myself… forgot what it’s like to interact with the opposite sex."
Channel 4 confirmed back in March that Scarlett would front the new series which last aired in the 90s.
Shy and retiring singletons will get a helping hand as Scarlett scours streets and pounds pavements to find the loveless a date in towns and cities across the UK.
Scarlett said at the time: "I can't believe Channel 4 have asked me to present this iconic dating show. I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking females can present entertainment shows too, I want to do that when I'm older.
"It's such a fun show and it's two of my favourite things to do, chat to randomers and a love story.”
Chatting about working on the show this week, Scarlett told fans on Instagram: “Dating these days is very impersonal. It's all about swiping and chatting to people on your phone.
"But when was the last time you seen someone you really fancied just in the middle of the street and you thought 'I'm going to ask them to go on a date'? Of course the answer is never because that is scary."
She added: "Don't worry. You don't have to be scared any more. Because you've got me to do the hard work for you."
Streetmate will air on Channel 4 later this year.
