RATINGS! Line Of Duty tops viewing figures but Top Gear sinks to series low


Line Of Duty's latest episode topped the viewing figures on Sunday night.

The third series of the BBC drama posted a series high of 5.7 million viewers at 9PM on Easter Sunday, the most watched programme of the day. BBC One dominated the night's ratings with 5.6 million watching Countryfile and and 5.3 million tuning in for Antiques Roadshow.


On ITV, Phillip Schofield's game show ended its run with fewer than 2 million viewers while Maigret's Night at the Crossroads had 3.8 million between 8PM and 10PM.

Over on BBC Two, there were series lows for both Top Gear and Robot Wars which finished their latest runs with 1.6 million and 1.1 million viewers respectively. Colombia with Simon Reeve was the channel's top show with 1.7 million viewers.

Both Channel 4 and Channel 5 also had lacklustre nights, with Naughty Cats Make You Laugh Out Loud the most watched between them with just a million viewers.
