The Nightly Show is back tonight on ITV for the start of its final week.

Presenter Dermot O’Leary is back in the hot seat for the final week of The Nightly Show from 10PM this evening.

The new late night chat show airs Monday to Fridays with a new face in the hosting chair each week.

Past presenters so far have been David Walliams, John Bishop, Davina McCall, Gordon Ramsay, Bradley Walsh and most recently Jason Manford.

Dermot hosts the eighth and final week of live shows which once again promise a high tempo mixture of topical monologue, studio games, celebrity guests, stand up and VT’s.

ITV have described the The Nightly Show as "a host a week, a show a day, a laugh a minute".

The series is recorded ‘as live’ in London each day before the late night transmission.

This is actually Dermot's second stint in the hot seat, having appeared previously in Week 4.

So far The Nightly Show has been a bit up and down with its viewing figures but recently enjoyed its best number since launch when Bradley Walsh was in charge.

Rumour has it that the show - which will conclude its eight week run on Friday - could return for a second series, albeit at the slightly later time of 10:30PM.

For this final week, The Nightly Show airs weekdays (Monday to Friday) at 10pm on ITV
