Take Me Out 2017 is here with series nine continuing tonight on ITV.

Descending the Love Lift on Saturday’s episode are Dee, a competitive body builder from Exeter, salesman Jonny from Leeds, Declan, a professional BMX rider from Portsmouth, and ukulele player Gee from Belfast.

Paddy McGuinness returns as host with ITV promising the new series will put a spring in every singleton’s step, serving up more of the potential lovematches and surprises that fans have come to love.

Master Matchmaker Paddy has been busy lining up a selection of single lads to brave the legendary ‘Love Lift’ for the brand new ‘Flirty Thirty’ ladies, who are ready and waiting to leave their lights on for love.

Paddy said: "What’s amazing about Take Me Out is we’ve had seven engagements, five weddings soon to be six, and three kids.

"It’s unbelievable, as well as being an entertainment show, people get married and go on to have families, all from meeting on a TV show. I’m really proud of that."

Teasing the new series, Paddy went on: "They are a really nice mix of girls who are very forthright and straight to the point. It makes my job a lot easier when the girls are good talkers and give honest answers.

"If a girl gives good answers I sometimes leave the stage thinking, ‘I’ll be gutted when she gets a date!’ But when they do get a date you become like a father figure and want to make sure she’s going to be treated well."

Meanwhile this year there is a new twist with spin-off show Take Me Out: The Gossip moving to Sunday nights on ITV2 at 9PM, bringing us even more action from the dates.

Hosts Mark Wright and Laura Jackson will be on hand to witness all the budding romances, drama, tears and tantrums.

They’ll even hit the town (and DJ decks!) with the couples, bringing viewers a taste of what really goes down during the nights out in Fernando’s plus plenty of news and updates from the couples’ reunions.

Take Me Out airs Saturday night at 6:45PM on ITV.
