A group of contestants on The Chase have been branded snakes after a controversial game.
It followed a win for the group against The Chasers but Twitter blew up over the episode.
Airing last night (Monday, March 20), things started well for the the four piece as first contestant Darragh secured £9,000 for the team.
However his fellow team mates didn't really seem to bother.
Michael added just £300 while the girls on the team - Carole and Georgia - accepted minus offers.
In the end the prize pot stood at £6,300 as all four contestants faced the final chase.
There again Darragh did much of the work to see the team beat the Chaser, securing their prize.
That left the group splitting the prize fund, seeing Darragh leave with £1,575 of his £9,000.
The other three contestants won the same amount, despite two of them actually giving up £3,000 between them.
On Twitter, fans were quick to comment with @sioncynfal posting: "Hi @ITV, I'd like to report a theft, it took place earlier on #TheChase, as a bloke got robbed of £9,000 by 3 plebs. Look into it please! x"
Another, @d_mateer wrote: "That episode of #TheChase will be repeated on BBC1 as #Crimewatch."
The Chase's own Mark Labbett aka The Beast quipped: "#thechase if you listen carefully you can hear the itv accountants laughing hysterically.... only 6.3k :)"
And @santaglause, who posted the above picture, remarked: "#TheChase what a bunch of snakes😠😠"
A Go Fund Me has even been set up in Darragh's honour to get him his £9,000 - although just £50 has been raised at the time of writing.
The Chase continues 5PM week nights on ITV.
