Dermot O'Leary takes over The Nightly Show on ITV all this week.

The X Factor presenter is in the hot seat for week 4 of The Nightly Show, the exciting new daily 30 minute entertainment show going out week nights at 10PM.

Dermot hosts the fourth week of live shows which promise a high tempo mixture of topical monologue, studio games, celebrity guests, stand up and VT’s.

ITV describe The Nightly Show as a host a week, a show a day, a laugh a minute and will be recorded ‘as live’ each day.

Guests confirmed for Dermot's week in charge include Ruby Wax & Catherine Tate, James Blunt and Ant & Dec.

It's hoped the all star line up can keep ratings from dropping even further.

Last week saw the lowest numbers yet with Davina McCall in charge.

The former Big Brother presenter started the week with the lowest Monday ratings before viewing figures dipped to a record low on the Tuesday.

Numbers rallied slightly on Wednesday and Thursday - although still well down on the equivalent episodes in the first two weeks - but collapsed again on her final Friday.

The show dropped below a million viewers at 10PM according to overnight viewing figures, with 990,000 tuning in for the last episode of the week.

Overall, Davina's week in charge averaged 1.3 million viewers, down 400,000 on John Bishop's previous average last week.

Dermot O'Leary hosts The Nightly Show all this week at 10PM on ITV. Gordon Ramsay will be in charge next week.
