ITV has wielded the axe and dropped two of its shows this week.
Stephen Mulhern's talent show Go For It won't be back for a second series after its first airing last autumn.
Go For It had come from the makers of Ninja Warrior and The Chase and was fronted by Britain's Got More Talent and Catchphrase host Stephen.
ITV said when announcing the show that Go For It "aims to discover the weirdest and most unique skills that our nation has to offer and then put them to the test".
However The Sun reports it won't be back on TV again after ITV decided against a second series.
"Stephen did a brilliant job hosting an everyone at ITV was really pleased. The show had real warmth and was great fun," a source told the newspaper. "Stephen has lots of other ITV projects coming up."
Joining Go For It on the TV scrapheap is new drama The Halcyon, which finished its first run last month.
ITV said: “ITV regularly considers the range of dramas we commission to ensure the right balance and range together with the best mix of returning series and new dramas.
“It does mean on occasions we have to take tough decisions, and not all drama can be recommissioned. We are really pleased so many people enjoyed The Halcyon and we are proud of what the series achieved. We'd like to thank The Halcyon production team and actors and everyone at [producers] Left Bank Pictures for their hard work."
