Here's a first look at Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and its new mini series 'The Missing Crown Jewels'.
Hot on the heels of last year’s "Who Shot Simon Cowell?" (the spoof mystery that kept the nation guessing) comes "The Missing Crown Jewels" - a brand new comedy mini-serial that sees the royal regalia stolen by a mysterious masked villain on Ant & Dec’s watch.
Emilia Fox returns to investigate, while Joanna Lumley, Michael Sheen and Dame Shirley Bassey amongst others help Ant and Dec to recover the jewels.
In episode one this Saturday evening, Ant and Dec have received their OBEs, but what they don't realise is with their honours come a whole heap of responsibilities.
Emilia Fox pays them a surprise visit to inform them that they are now part of The Honoured, a secret and elite organisation made up of people that have made it onto the Queen's Honours list.
Greeted by the Head of the Honoured, Joanna Lumley, the boys soon realise they are in distinguished company, with their fellow peers including Head of Cyber Intelligence and Computer Hacking Dame Shirley Bassey, Head of Top Secret Operations, William Roache MBE, and Hand to Hand Combat Expert Alan Titchmarsh MBE.
Emilia then tells the boys that their most important task is to protect the Monarchy, with every new member of The Honoured asked to spend the night guarding The Crown Jewels.
A seemingly simple task, but not for these two...Distracted by a vending machine while they are supposed to be watching the jewels, a masked intruder arrives and thieves them...
In dire straits, Ant and Dec set out to retrieve the jewels, and in the process attempt to solve the question on everybody's lips - who stole The Missing Crown Jewels.
The mystery begins in Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway on Saturday 25th February on ITV at 7PM.
