Fans of X Factor's 5 After Midnight will have plenty to listen out for this year.
The vibrant three-piece - Kieran Alleyne (21), Jordan Lee (21) and Nathan Lewis (24) - were finalists on The X Factor last year and were the leading group in the series.
It was announced earlier this month that Syco had signed 5 After Midnight and they've big plans.
In a chat with The Sun newspaper, the group revealed hopes to have two singles AND an album out in 2017 - all while not wanting to "rush".
Kieran told the tabloid: “We’re going to get two singles out and an album by the end of the year. We don’t want to rush it.
“We want to feel good about it. We want it to be natural and feel right.”He added: “It’s so exciting. We’re just super excited to get in the studio and get the songs going. We have a perfect team. It’s going to be an exciting year. There aren’t a lot of boybands out there so we want to fill that gap.”
With the group following in the footsteps of One Direction, he added: “They are some big boots to fill but all we can do is work hard, find our own sound and our own lane and hope for the best.”
Trio 5 After Midnight were mentored by Louis Walsh on the show and finished in third place in last month's final behind runner up Saara Aalto and winner Matt Terry.
Speaking about their record deal, Nathan said: “What an honour it is to be working with the best label in the business. This is a dream come true.”
Jordan added: “To say that we are part of a roster that includes artists such as One Direction and Little Mix is just incredible.”
And Kieran said: “We want to thank our supporters and can't wait to give them new music, our music”
The band will join winner Matt Terry on The X Factor Arena Tour, a 21-day nationwide run beginning in Nottingham on February 23. They will subsequently go into the recording studio to begin working on material for their first release.
