X Factor duo Brooks Way are reportedly in talks for a record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco label.
The pair, made up of twins Josh and Kyle, had been suspended from the series ahead of the first live show having originally made the final 12.
However it was confirmed that they would be leaving the show altogether after claims were made against Josh.
In a statement, Josh said at the time: "Due to events in my personal life I've decided that it's best not to be on the show at this time. While not everything that has been claimed is true I would like to apologise to everyone involved."
An X Factor spokesman added: "Following the allegations relating to Josh Brooks, we have decided by mutual consent that Brooks Way should leave the competition."
Three months on and reports have claimed that Brooks Way - previously known as The Brooks - may be set to scoop a record deal.
The Sun newspaper reports that although nothing is signed just yet, there have been meetings at Syco's London HQ.
"Josh and Kyle visited the Sony offices last week for some meetings and to meet execs," a label insider revealed to the tabloid "It’s very early days but potentially very exciting. The meetings seemed to go well – but the boys are keeping their feet on the ground."
Meanwhile, a source close to the two singers said: "The boys have done a lot of growing up since they were dropped from The X Factor in September.
“They’ve been working on themselves and their sound, and they are really excited about starting 2017 with releasing some new music."
If Syco do pick up Brooks Way they'd be the third of last year's finalists to pen a deal with Simon Cowell's label, alongside 5 After Midnight and Honey G.
