Little Mix have secured three BRIT nominations for 2017 with the awards ceremony tonight.

The X Factor 2011 champs have secured nods in the Best British Single category for Shout Out To My Ex and Best Video category for their single Hair with Sean Paul.

Little Mix have also been nominated for Best British Group alongside The 1975, Radiohead, Biffy Clyro and Bastille.

As well as their three nominations, it's been confirmed that Little Mix will perform during the awards ceremony itself this evening, which airs live on ITV.

Meanwhile, the full list of nominations will see Little Mix face off against One Direction's Zayn Malik, their fellow X Factor winner James Arthur and Britain's Got Talent star Calum Scot for the title of Best British single.

Also nominated are Clean Bandit Ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie with Rockabye, Tinie Tempah Ft. Zara Larsson with Girls Like, Jonas Blue Ft. Dakota with Fast Car, Alan Walker with Faded, Calvin Harris ft. Rihanna's This is What You Came For and Coldplay's Hymn for the Weekend.

But missing out on any nominations is Olly Murs despite another Number 1 album.

According to The Sun, Olly pulled out of a performance at last month's nominations reveal party after finding out about the snub.

A source said: “Olly is gutted. One of his main ambitions is to win a Brit and he really thought he had done enough to be nominated.

“As soon as Olly and his team found out he had no nominations they made the decision to pull out.”

The Brits 2017 will take place on February 22 on ITV from 7:30PM.

X Factor host Dermot O'Leary will team up with Big Brother presenter Emma Willis to front the bash.
