Olly Murs, James Arthur, Louisa Johnson on Top Of The Pops Christmas

An array of X Factor stars share the stage in the Christmas special of Top Of The Pops.

The BBC One show is once again back for two festive specials on Christmas Day and New Years Eve.

Hosted by Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates, Top Of The Pops will celebrate the biggest hits and most successful acts of 2016.

The Christmas special will be an hour-long celebration of all things pop, reviewing 2016’s year in music with a line-up of some of the biggest musical names of the year.

Performances will include X Factor's James Arthur, Olly Murs and Louisa Johnson, as well as Britain's Got Talent Calum Scott.

Plus, making an appearance will be Clean Bandit featuring Anne Marie, DNCE, Skepta, Jonas Blue featuring Dakota, Zara Larsson, Kungs and Craig David.

The show will also see the official Christmas Number 1 crowned, with Clean Bandit beating this year's X Factor champ Matt Terry to the top spot.

Top Of the Pops will then return New Years Even with a line up that once again includes Louisa, this time singing with Clean Bandit.

Fearne Cotton said: "The festive Top of the Pops specials are such a wonderful tradition, and I’m so happy they’re back for another year. The line-up is as epic as ever, and the show’s promise to be a special watch.”

Reggie Yates added: "Hosting the annual Top Of The Pops Christmas and New Year’s Eve specials is one of the highlights of my year - it’s always a pleasure to present the biggest pop party on TV alongside my old friend Fearne."

Christmas Top Of The Pops airs Christmas Day, 1:50PM on BBC One.
