Outnumbered is back for a one-off Christmas special tonight but where are the kids now?
It's been almost three years since the final regular episode of the show aired on BBC One but it'll be back for a one-off 40 minute so this evening on BBC One.
The BBC say of the episode: "It's Boxing Day and the Brockman family have to carry out a special mission for Grandad. They encounter car problems, child problems, parent problems, emotional problems and World War Two.
"If the adults can't sort things out the children will have to. Like all families, everything has changed and everything remains the same."
The original cast - Hugh Dennis, Claire Skinner, Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez - all return to reprise their roles, with Hugh saying: "I can't wait to re-join our TV nucleus, and what better place to experience the full joy of family life than stuck in the family car."
The children are very much all grown up and this week spoke out about starring in the original series of the show.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Ramona confessed: “I’ve definitely stumbled across a GIF of Karen saying funny things.
“I don’t know at the time when I was filming it, the things I was saying. I guess that when you’re a kid you do sort of say things, the brutal reality of things, and that’s why Karen is funny, because she says it like it is.”
She added: “I guess I find it weird because I never thought of it at the time as being significant to anyone, so it is a bit strange, but I do think it is really nice and funny.”
Daniel added: “I had those relationship with shows where you watch them young and you look at the actors now and you are like, this is mad.”
And Tyger said: “[People come] up to me and they are like, ‘You look, like, so much older!”, and yet I have been living in the same time, on the same planet, as you, so I have aged as well.”
Meanwhile, Outnumbered originator Andy Hamilton previously told The Telegraph that this first special could pave the way for many more for many years to come.
"Our plan is to pop in every couple of years and see how the family is getting on," explained comedian Andy. "You learn not to think too far ahead, but who knows? Many years down the line there’ll be an episode where Karen becomes a grandmother.”
Outnumbered's Christmas special will air on Boxing Day, December 26, at 10PM.
