Rylan Clark's chat show Up Late With Rylan seemed to win over most viewers as it started on Channel 5 tonight.
The new series airs Monday-Thursdays at 11PM with Rylan joined by Alesha Dixon, Charlotte Crosby and Keith Lemon on this evening's premiere.
There were also appearances from Anthea Turner and Ferne McCann in segments that wouldn't have been out of place on Rylan's Big Brother show Bit On The Side.
The opening episode suffered a few unplanned hiccups, with Rylan tweeting afterwards: "Well that was eventful. Everything that could go wrong went wrong! But that's tele. Thanks for the support and see u tomorrow X night night"
However overall the show seems to have been received well on Twitter despite the mistakes, with many wishing it was longer than the 45 minute run time.
I enjoyed #UpLateWithRylan! I love Rylan so knew I would, but it is great, great segments too. He's a natural!

This show is great but needs to be a full hour long, 45 minutes feels too rushed! #UpLateWithRylan

Although there were a few who remain unconvinced.
I really, genuinely, honestly wanted that to work.
But what a bloody mess.
