Up Late With Rylan

Rylan Clark-Neal's Channel 5 chat show Up Late With Rylan begins tonight on Channel 5 with a trio of guests.

Rylan's show will start on this evening, May 9 at 11PM on Channel 5 for its first episode and then run four nights a week (Monday-Thursday) throughout May.

The premiere this evening will see Rylan chatting to Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, comic Keith Lemon and Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby.

TOWIE's Ferne McCann and Anthea Turner will also make appearances while Shakka will perform his hit 'You Don't Know What You Do With Me'.

Plus, Rylan will play his new dating game 'Bank or Bin' with members of the audience.

Each episode will be filmed with a live studio crowd just before transmission to make it as up to date as possible.

Channel 5 have described the new chat show as "an inclusive, hilarious and mischievous nightly treat", teasing: "There will be engaging items around each well-known guest star and Rylan will be joined by a variety of music acts during the series."

Speaking ahead of the first show tonight, Rylan admitted he was "so nervous it's not even funny".

"I joined Big Brother when it was established. I joined This Morning when it was established," he told the BBC's Newsbeat. "This is not established and it's got my name on it.

"If it fails I want to know it was my failure."

And he's already preparing for the backlash, adding: "There's going to be a lot of people who think 'why's he got a show?' They're waiting to slag it off.

"But I'm ready for it.

"At the end of the day if people want to talk about the show at least they're still talking about it!"

Up Late With Rylan, Channel 5, Monday-Thursday, 11PM.
