Rylan's chat show 'Up Late With Rylan' is launching next month on Channel 5: Here's ALL you need to know!

Details today have been confirmed for Rylan Clark-Neal's new show, which will air from the heart of London’s West End.

The series will run "throughout May" from the start of the month, although no exact launch date has been given just yet.

Channel 5 describe the series as a "lively and irreverent late night show" which will be "packed full of engaging celebrities, social buzz, live music and mischievous late night games."

There will be a live studio audience with episodes filming on the evening of transmission from The Hospital Club in Central London.

"This exciting fast- turnaround show is truly topical and means Rylan and his guests can cover the very latest news, and gossip," say Channel 5. "An inclusive, hilarious and mischievous nightly treat, there will be engaging items around each well-known guest star and Rylan will be joined by a variety of music acts during the series."

Rylan, who also fronts Big Brother's Bit On The Side for Channel 5, said: “I’m delighted to be hosting my very own show.

"I can’t wait to get started and show you how much fun we’re all going to have together. I can promise you it will be lively but light hearted, energetic and always entertaining – welcome to my world!”

Steve Regan, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment at Channel 5, added: “We’re delighted to give Rylan his own show, he’s the latest in an illustrious list of late night hosts.

"Rylan is a true showman and entertainer and this engaging and lively series provides the perfect platform for his talents. Viewers and his fans can look forward to a host of spontaneous surprises direct from the heart of London.”

Up Late with Rylan will air from early May on Channel 5.
