Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway faces Ofcom complaints over the 'sexual tone' of the show.

It's after one part of the series this month included the revelation that Ant and Dec had been ranked sixth on a list of men that women most fantasise about.

The Saturday night series has in fact been the target various objections over the past few weeks from viewers who clearly have nothing better to do.

A total of 54 people wrote to the TV watchdog when one audience member won a free cruise after admitting to falsely claiming to her boss that she was sick in order to get time off.

Others have complained that women are always picked to play in the Win the Ads competition while other objections have included 'irresponsible driving' after a clip of someone singing and holding a phone at the wheel.

Further complaints lodged by Ofcom, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper, concerned Dec 'threatening' to “smash your [Ant’s] face in” during one scene while a segment on making cash from selfies was deemed "inappropriate" by a viewer.

The show also faces being looked into over Gino D'acampo's appearance in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Ear where the TV chef was encouraged to say 'sheet' by the Geordie duo.

Ofcom will assess the complaints in due course.

For now, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway continues tonight on ITV from 7:10PM.
