Hollywood star Neil Patrick Harris is to visit the UK for an appearance on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, it's been announced.
The 41-year-old, who hosted the latest Oscars ceremony last month, will be the guest announcer on an upcoming episode of the ITV variety show, according to its official website.
His role will give him a first-hand look at how Takeaway works behind the scenes - which will come in handy, as he recently signed up to launch the format in the States.
Harris - known for popular sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother' and acclaimed movie 'Gone Girl' - is a big fan of the show, and says he "can't stop smiling" at it.
"Now that I've seen many seasons, my face hurts. It's a game changer," he said last year.
The US version is expected to air on NBC this Autumn - although reports suggest that it will not air on Saturdays or use the 'Takeaway' name.
It will be made by ITV Studios America, with Ant & Dec acting as executive producers - in a deal that has reportedly earned them a cool £15million.
Other highlights coming up on the current UK series include the Geordie duo stitching up Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Out Of Me Ear!', and an edition of 'Undercover' that sees them prank Stephen Mulhern in front of an audience of hundreds.
Saturday Night Takeaway continues tomorrow night at 7.00pm on ITV.
