Channel 5 has released the trailer for series 6 of All Creatures Great and Small, which launches Thursday 25 September at 9pm.
Returning to the Yorkshire Dales in 1945, the new series finds James Herriot, Siegfried Farnon, Mrs Hall, Helen and Tristan navigating a changing post-war world, new challenges in veterinary medicine, and plenty of heartwarming animal stories.

Alongside familiar faces, this series welcomes new cast members Lucy-Jo Hudson, Gaia Wise, Jonathan Hyde, Philip Martin Brown and Chris Gascoyne, while Patricia Hodge once again delights as Mrs Pumphrey with her beloved Tricki.
Series 6 will include six episodes plus a Christmas Special, with US audiences able to watch on MASTERPIECE in early 2026.
Based on James Herriot’s beloved books, All Creatures Great and Small remains a timeless favourite, blending gentle drama, humour and warmth with the stunning backdrop of the Yorkshire countryside.
