ITV has released first-look images for Frauds, a brand new heist drama starring Suranne Jones and Jodie Whittaker.
The pair play former partners in crime with unfinished business in the upcoming six-part series.
Set in the hills of Southern Spain, the story begins as Sam (Whittaker) prepares for the release of her old friend Bert (Jones), who’s being let out of prison on compassionate grounds with only weeks to live.
But time hasn’t healed old wounds.
The two women share a long, complicated past built on loyalty, mistrust and a criminal history that’s never really gone away.
Sam has tried to leave it all behind and now lives a quiet life — until Bert turns up with one last job: a multi-million-pound art heist that could change everything.
As the pressure builds, their already fragile relationship is tested by secrets, guilt and betrayal.
With high stakes and emotional twists, Frauds explores what happens when you can’t outrun your past… or the people in it.
The show will also star Talisa García, Christian Cooke, Elizabeth Berrington and Karan Gill.
Frauds will air later this year on ITV1 and ITVX.
