NeighboursThis week in Neighbours, the truth behind the fire in Michael's Sandman looks set to be unveiled as Lucas is accused but will Tash confess?

Monday 23rd April

When a shocked Lucas finds out he's the main suspect in torching Michael's Sandman, Chris encourages him to seek help from Toadie - whose own doubts over his innocence become all too clear when he arranges for Ajay to represent him instead. Having turned down the offer, Lucas feels the pressure to reconsider, particularly in light of his prior convictions. Will Lucas be charged for something he didn’t do? Meanwhile, when he learns that the police have one prime suspect, Michael immediately assumes it’s Tash but, realising that at this stage any attempt to protect her could make things worse, follows Emilia's advice to sit tight until they're sure. However, when he learns the suspect is actually Lucas, Michael can't hold back any longer: he takes the wrap for the crime, wanting to protect both his friend and his daughter. Michael can only hope Tash will soften but, when she lashes out saying she never wants to see him again, begins to fear their relatioship is beyond repair.

Tuesday 24th April

Guilt-ridden over her part in the state of affairs between Michael and Tash, Emilia sacrifices her love for them both and decides to leave town, hoping to give them a chance at rebuilding their relationship. However, when his daughter continues to reject the idea of reconciliation, Michael reconsiders what the future might have in store for him, leaving Tash to face the consequences. Seemingly getting the cold shoulder from Jessica, Karl fears she hasn’t taken their break-up well. Not wanting to be on the receiving end of Jessica's frustration for a second time, Rhys attempts to keep the peace at work by encouraging Karl to let her in the fun run. When Karl runs the race in earnest and genuinely injures himself, Jessica can't help suspecting he's faking it and is left feeling patronised. Karl tries to smooth things over, but when Jessica realises he assumes she's heartbroken, she makes it embarrassingly clear just how little he meant to her.

Wednesday 25th April

Spotting an opportunity, Rhys causes tension in Kyle's relationship by encouraging him to suggest to Jade the idea of their sharing a room more permanently. After Jade inevitably shuts down the idea and is left feeling rattled, Rhys uses some time alone with her at the Singles' Boot Camp to play on her fear that her commitment issues will only end up ruining her love life. With Jade beginning to doubt she deserves to be with Kyle, Rhys makes his move on her. Is she about to make a huge mistake? Shocked by Michael’s sudden departure, Tash refuses to tell her friends he’s gone; however, when Chris presses her fo the truth, she cracks and blames herself for pushing her dad away. Supported by her friend, Tash puts on a brave face and plans a house party, determined to make the most of her situation. Assuring a concerned Karl she’ll be fine on her own, Tash struggles when confronted by reminders of her family, but is privately comforted when Chris turns up on her doorstep, ready to move in and remind her she’s not alone. Meanwhile, Kate's torn when Rhys calls her on her feelings for Kyle, trying to persuade her to keep him distracted while he makes the most of an opportunity to seduce Jade. Is she willing to take a leaf out of Rhys's book and play dirty to get what she wants.

Thursday 26th April

Toadie’s efforts to remain relaxed are tested when Callum insists on cooking the first meal in their new kitchen. With some persuasion from Sonya, who believes this could be a good distraction from their problems, he relucantly agrees; however, after a series of disasters, of which the final straw is Toadie losing his keys down the incinerator, their plans to de-stress are derailed. Called into the office, Toadie finds a sense of purpose and control that is lacking at home. Therefore, when Charlotte pulls work from his case load, he admits to her that he's ready to take on more - a fact he fails to mention to Sonya when she remarks the added pressure is contrary to their plans. Despite having rejected Rhys, Jade is shocked by what happened between them and tries to confess to Kyle. Desperate to limit the damage, Rhys tries to talk her out of it, only for Jade to decide to commit to Kyle in her own way, making it clear to Rhys that he no longer has any hold over her and she won't stand to let him manipulate her again.
