Sophie Ramsay to fall for mysterious newcomer on 'Neighbours' later this year in new storyline for the teenager!

Neighbours teenager Sophie Ramsay is set to fall for a mysterious newcomer in a forthcoming storyline later this year. Sophie, who was centre of a huge storyline which saw her developing feelings for teenager Noah Parkin (Orpheus Pledger) however unfortunately for the Ramsay Street teenager, her feelings were unrequited as he actually had a crush on her sister Kate (Ashleigh Brewer).

However, Sophie is set to find a new love interest later this year when she meets ''mysterious'' newbie Corey at a gig. Sophie, played by Kaiya Jones is currently going through a rebellious phase which has saw her undergo a total makeover. The young girl is impressed upon meeting charming Corey and they soon share their first kiss. Speaking to TV Week, Toby Wallace, who plays Corey said: ''Corey's brother is in a band - and he sees him as a really cool person. Corey wants to follow in his footsteps, so he dresses like him and pretends he's into music and going to gigs. Underneath he's almost a geek, but he gets away with it because he's got this charm about him."

He added: ''He meets [Sophie] at one of his brother's gigs - they both click and she really likes him," the actor continued. "But there's this wall between Sophie and Corey in that she doesn't really know who he is. She likes that mystery." Meanwhile, when asked if he found it awkward filming the kissing scenes, Wallace said: ''At first, but it was quite comfortable after a while - although we did about 15 takes because we had to do different angles."
