Emmerdale star Danny Miller has revealed that he is set to leave the ITV1 soap next year after three years in the role of troubled Aaron Livesy. Miller who first appeared on screen as Aaron in 2008 will leave in Spring 2012 after a fantastic stint playing Aaron who quickly became a fan favourite due to emotional storylines involving his coming out as gay and coping when boyfriend Jackson was paralysed in a train crash.
Speaking about his exit, Miller said:"It has been an incredibly difficult decision but after three years playing Aaron and much soul-searching, I am eager to explore other roles. I am so grateful to Emmerdale for the opportunity that I have been given and have loved every moment. I will miss everyone enormously but this might not be the last we see of Aaron."
Meanwhile, producer for Emmerdale, Stuart Blackburn commented: ''We completely respect Danny's decision and are very grateful for the hard work and commitment he has brought to his role as Aaron. We wish him all the best for the future and in the meantime there is still plenty more drama to come from Aaron well into 2012."
It was not the first time that the character of Aaron had appeared on the show as Danny Webb previously played the role between 2003 and 2006. He will be seen departing our screens at some point in Spring 2012.
