Josh Quong Tart to leave C5 soap 'Home And Away' later this year?

Home And Away actor Josh Quong Tart is set to leave his role as popular Summer Bay teacher Miles Copeland on the popular C5 soap. Quong Tart who has played Miles since November 2007 was first introduced to viewers in Australia and the UK as the long-lost twin of popular show stalwart Sally Fletcher (Kate Ritchie).

Actor Quong Tart confirmed to TV Week that he will leave the show later this year having quit after 4 years in the role of Miles and has already filmed his final scenes. Recent weeks have seen Miles being pushed away by his girlfriend Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemu) following her tragic miscarriage.

Although he has been nominated for many awards for his role in the Australian soap, he's also well known in Australia for his variety of television work including playing Matt Horner in hospital drama All Saints, Will Monk in headLand and in the children's TV show Starvo.

Speaking about their relationship, Quong Tart's on screen girlfriend said: ''Leah gives Miles an ultimatum that's a total shock to him. She's blaming Miles. If she keeps pushing him away, it could lead to heartbreak for them both."
