Former married couple Sally and Kevin Webster are set to share a night of passion with each other on ITV1 soap Coronation Street after Kevin's (Michael Le Vell's) father Bill (Peter Armitage) has a heart attack.
According to The Sun, the illicit passion takes place after Sally, played by Sally Dynevor takes pity on Kevin and comforts him as he worries for the health of his poorly father. However, things take a step further as the pair end up in bed together.
Sally split up from Kevin at the end of last year after she discovered that he had an affair with fellow resident Molly Dobbs (Vicky Binns) and was the father to her baby Jack. The pair later began a bitter divorce battle but have got along better in recent months.
A source for the soap told the paper: ''Kevin can't wait to tell everyone - including his dad - that they're back together again. He loves Sally and had ended the affair well before she found out." However, it's unknown if the pair are due to get back together as executive producer Phil Collinson recently said a reunion for the once married couple was not on the cards.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Phil said: "Sally is going to take a long time before she can forgive Kevin and trust him again. I think that we'd sell that story and those characters short if we put them back together too soon - and indeed if ever."
