Coronation Street's Sally Webster (Sally Dyvenor) is set to become embroiled in the upcoming Frank and Carla storyline when she falls for Frank's (Andrew Lancel's) charms following his rape of Carla Connor (Alison King).
According to The People, the evil businessman offers Sally a 30% pay rise and more responsiblity if she quits her job in Underworld and starts working for him following the ordeal which takes place next month. The plot twist is thought to take place after Carla reports Frank for rape. With business and personal relationships with Carla over, Frank seizes his half of the business and begins to try and poach her staff.
Sources at the soap say that Sally ends her current relationship with Jeff Cullen in a bid to become more than his employee. However, after she ignores Carla's warnings to be careful with Frank, viewers are left wondering if Sally could become Carla's next victim.
A show insider told the newspaper: ''Carla tells her, 'I don't blame you for taking up his offer. Good luck. But be very wary of Frank, love. He might come across all sweetness and light and act like a little boy lost. But the truth is he's a vicious violent rapist, nothing more, nothing less'."
The insider added: ''Sally thinks she is finally getting somewhere but Frank's got a very different and much darker agenda." Viewers have already seen Frank's dark side after he attempted to rape Maria earlier this year whilst she attended a business meeting at his house.
