'Coronation Street' newcomer launches vengeful plan against rape victim Carla Connor

Evil businessman Frank Foster will recruit his mother to scheme against former fiancée Carla Connor (Alison King) following her horrible rape ordeal at his hands. The evil Weatherfield resident, played by Andrew Lancel will get his mother to make Carla's life hell after she reports him for raping her.

Show newcomer Anne Foster, played by English actress Gwen Taylor will try to make Carla's life hell following the rape which airs on our screens next month. According to The Sun, Frank will recruit his mother to do his dirty work after Carla reports him following his brutal raping of her following her decision to call off their nuptials.

Frank will also target their business Underworld Factory when he recruits thugs to lift machinery and stock from the factory. However, it has emerged that this action will be controlled by his mother Anne who arrives in Underworld to act on Frank's behalf after he is strictly told to stay away from Carla following the traumatic incident.

Anne initially pretends to be friendly to Carla and puts on an act by treating her kindly but it soon emerges that Anne is merely biding her time as she soon has heavies to the factories to claim Frank's half of the business. After sewing machines are stolen from the factory, Carla's business is in trouble after she's forced to cancel orders.

A show insider told the newspaper: ''Despite raping Carla, Frank believes he has done nothing wrong and is determined to get his revenge on her for reporting him. He wants to put pressure on her to drop the charges and will offer to return the machinery in exchange for doing so. Anne is the sort of mother that will protect her son no matter what - and viewers will absolutely hate her."
