Coronation Street pub manager Stella Price (Michelle Collins) will reveal that she was raped by an ex-boyfriend in a heart-to-heart with Carla Connor (Alison King) following Carla's upcoming sexual attack at the hands of her boyfriend Frank Foster (Andrew Lancel).
Stella apparently decides to discuss her past with Carla after hearing about her ordeal. According to The Sun, Stella recounts her experience to Carla before confiding that she is the first person she has ever told about the rape. Seeing that Carla is struggling to cope in the aftermath of the terrifying ordeal, Stella tries to help her by giving her advice on how she dealt with her rape.
''Carla is horrified to hear that Stella too has gone through a similar torment. The pair have a real heart-to-heart. They are both strong women and they soon become firm friends," a show source told the tabloid newspaper. This latest plot twist comes after the revelation that Carla attends a sexual assault crisis clinic following the rape.
When Carla then considers dropping charges against Frank, Stella convinces her not to drop charges as she will regret it for the rest of her life. Viewers have already seen Stella confess to being Leanne Barlow's (Jane Danson's) biological mother.
