Home And Away character Darryl 'Brax' Braxton is set to be subjected to an attack by fellow gang member Jake (Fletcher Humphreys) in a shocking forthcoming storyline. The Summer Bay bad boy with a soft side will be stabbed after the gang argues over drugs.
In scenes set to air next week on Australian screens, the soap which is currently on hiatus over here in the UK will see Brax, played by Steve Peacocke fighting for his life after he gets involved with dangerous Jake who stabs him leaving him for dead.
After Brax's younger brother Casey and Casey's girlfriend Ruby Buckton are held hostage by evil Jake, Brax steps in and tracks down the bad boy in order to rescue the teenagers. However, as he squares up to Jake, a knife is produced and Brax becomes the victim of a brutal attack.
Speaking about the upcoming plot, Steve explained: ''He's been stabbed in the back. He knows he can't go to hospital so he tries to patch himself up. He's at death's door." After the attack, a weak Brax struggles his way to Angelo's restuarant where his girlfriend Charlie Buckton (Esther Anderson) finds him. Peacocke added: ''When she sees that she's almost lost him, it could make her re-evaluate what she thinks about him."
The scenes will air a few weeks after the soap returns to UK television screens in September.
