Arson attack set to destroy Eddie Moon's livelihood in upcoming storyline on 'Eastenders'

David EssexEddie Moon is set to be left devastated after his livelihood is destroyed by an arson attack in a forthcoming storyline, it has been reported. Charming Eddie who arrived earlier this year, played by 70's music icon David Essex will be left devastated after his antiques business is destroyed deliberately in a fire.

In scenes set to air next week, Eddie decides to bring his successful antiques business to Walford as a way to secure his place in the community after finding new work premises in the area but Eddie's dreams are destroyed after his business is set alike by one Walford resident.

Despite the valiant efforts of his sons Anthony and Tyler Moon (Matt Lapinskas ), Eddie is left with nothing as he watches all his stock go up in smoke. In the aftermath of the attack, Eddie accuses his estranged son Michael (Steve John Shepherd) must be responsible for the arson attack due to their fractured relationship.

Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed: ''Tyler and Anthony try to help but nothing can be done - everything is destroyed. Eddie looks on devastated, his whole life appears to have gone up in flames. He is determined he knows who is to blame - but is he right?" The scenes will air next week. Who do you think is behind the attack?
