Ryan Malloy will flee Walford on the run from the police after his explosive showdown with evil pimp Rob Grayson, it has been reported. The Eastenders character, played by Neil Mc Dermott is set to leave the BBC1 soap later this year after two years on screen. The hard man character first arrived in 2009 as Whitney Dean (Shona Mc Garty) discovered that she had an older half-brother.
Earlier this month, we reported that Eastenders had been caught filming on-location scenes in Southend which were to see Whitney Dean come face to face with the evil pimp Rob Grayson (Jody Latham) who exploited her leading to a confrontation between protective Ryan and evil Rob.
According to The Sun, Ryan decides to flee Walford following the massive fight fearing that the cops will catch up with him and he will be sent down for what he has done to Rob. This will lead to an emotional goodbye between Ryan and Whitney who adored her loyal older brother. Whitney is believed to help Ryan run away by securing him some cash so he can start a new life away from Albert Square.
The explosive exit comes after the storyline earlier this year which saw Rob exploit Whitney to a world of prostitution before she finally had the courage to escape by jumping from a window. Ryan's exit will air later this year.
