T4 music programme The Hollyoaks Music Show will return for a third series later this year, it has been confirmed. The programme which airs on C4's teenage slot at weekends sees a number of music stars performing live on the set of Hollyoaks in locations such as Chez Chez and the main village.
The programme is set to be presented by ex-cast members Matt Littler and Darren Jefferies (Max Cunningham and O.B. O'Brien) and will once again be sponsored by Matalan. The series is due to start on Saturday, June 11 and will last for 12 30-minute episodes with three ''Best Of'' specials.
Acts confirmed to perform during the series include Parade, The Wombats, Peter Andrew *yawn* and Tinchy Strjder. Executive Producer for the series Lee Hardman said: ''We're delighted that The Hollyoaks Music Show with Matalan.co.uk is back with a third series and we're already excited about the new line-up.''
Meanwhile, presenters Matt and Darren commented: ''We're stupidly excited to be going back to Hollyoaks village! This new series of the Music Show is going to be the best yet and we really cannot wait to get involved. Huzzah!''
