The future for Phil Mitchell on EastEnders looks to be in doubt in the latest spoilers.
At least one of the cast is set to be killed off in a big stunt this week that will see a gas explosion rock the Square.
Others will be left fighting for their lives following the blast in a four-part storyline.
Now in a first look trailer, Phil Mitchell (played by Steve McFadden) is seen lying unconscious on a load of bin bags, covered in rubble and dirt following the blast.
The 30 second teaser hows how it all goes wrong at the 'The Walford in Bloom' event where a huge explosion results in tragic consequences for attendees.
"24 hours will shatter the square," the trailer says.
A source told The Sun newspaper previously: “It’s a bold stunt and has taken months of planning.
“It’ll trigger a load of other storylines off the back of it, but the explosion itself will be a major talking point.
“Viewers will be left wondering whether it was set off on purpose or by accident, and bosses are staying tight-lipped about who will die but at least one is looking like they will."
They added: “Fans will be hoping it’s not one of their favourites who is being killed off.”
But who will die?
All will finally be revealed all this week on BBC One.
