Today's Soap Round-Up: Tuesday 10th May 2011- Entrances and Exits Special

Round-UpHello and welcome to another of the infamous Soap Round-Ups! Today has been chock full of little nuggets of soapie information with the announcement of the new Moon family in Eastenders dominating the soap headlines however a few other announcements have been made with the return of intefering relatives in Corrie, the exit of a young lady in Emmerdale and another young lady who won't be leaving Hollyoaks contrary to reports. Here we go!

We're starting off in Weatherfield with the announcement that Sunita Alahan's (Shobna Gulati's) interfering aunts Grishma and Upma are set to make a return to Coronation Street shortly as they pay their niece another visit. Their last visit in Febuary 2010 famously forced Sunita's then ex-husband Dev Alahan (Jimmi Hasharkin) to pretend that he was still married to the lady leading for them to fall in love again anyway!

This time, Inside Soap reports that the nosey relatives, played by Indira Joshi and Jamila Massey come back ''determined to cause problems for the couple''. True to form, expect them to pick holes in their parenting skills as well as in their relationship. The soap magazine has also revealed that Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) will get a friend as her mate Will turns up.

Meanwhile, switching to fellow ITV soap opera Emmerdale, actress Kelsey-Beth Crossley has announced her departure from the show after four years in the role of Scarlett Nicholls.  The young lady first appeared as Carl and Jimmy King's (Tom Lister and Nick Miles') half-sister Scarlett since 2007 but writing on her Twitter yesterday, she said: ''The most stressful part of auditions is waiting for a verdict! Ahh ha! X (sic).''

After inquisitive fans asked her if this meant she was leaving Emmerdale, she confirmed it, replying to well-wishers stating: ''Thanks guys, had to announce because I didn't know how to reply to the tweets asking about storylines. Love you all and support xxxxxxxxx.'' Bosses at the Yorkshire-based soap have yet to confirm details of Scarlett's exit but her tweet suggests that she has finished filming already.

Going to Chester now, one lady who won't be going anywhere soon to the delight of many (not least us) is bitchy Ruby Button. The Hollyoaks lass was reported to be leaving the C4 soap earlier today however bosses at the show quickly quashed rumours stating that although Ruby would be leaving screens in a few weeks, it's all part of her current storyline.

Anna Shafter who plays the bitchy schoolgirl has also starred in Harry Potter however her role as Ruby has garnered her praise with many soapfans loving Ruby's sharp tongue and antics with friend Esther. A spokesperson said: ''We don't want to spoil the storylines for the viewers, however we can confirm that Anna Shafter is with Hollyoaks for the forseeable future.''

And..........breathe! Phew! That was a lot of information to take in on one article however we hope you now have a better idea of who is staying and going. Are you excited to see Sunita's interfering aunts back? Are you sad to see Scarlett leaving? Does Ruby's bitchy behaviour keep you on the edge of your seat?
