6.6 million viewers tuned in to last night's fourth Britain's Got Talent 2017 live semi-final.

A peak audience of 8.2 million viewers watched the performances yesterday evening as the penultimate set of eight acts competed for two places in the final.


The average audience was down 600,000 viewers on Wednesday's show, representing a joint series low with Tuesday's performances.

BGT's separate results show saw 6.4 million viewers from 9:30PM, holding up a lot better when compared to Tuesday where 5.8 million tuned in.

The last live semi-final airs this evening at 7:30PM on ITV before the final on Saturday night, which has moved from its original Sunday air date.


Currently the most watched show on TV, Coronation Street's ratings continued to rise with 8 million watching last night.

Numbers for this week's dramatic string of episodes have got bigger every day, with last night's viewing figures up 300,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

Before BGT, Emmerdale averaged 5.4 million viewers on ITV while BBC One had 4.1 million for EastEnders.

The latest episode of its new spin-off series, Redwater, which follows former EastEnders characters Kat and Alfie Moon, continued to struggle.

It dropped another 600,000 viewers, down to 2.1 million from the figure for the opening episode of 4.2 million.

Elsewhere, new drama Paula had 1.3 million viewers at 9PM on BBC Two, well down on last week's 2.4 million, while Springwatch continued with 2 million viewers.
