EastEnders bosses are planning a huge story line that will change the face of the show forever.
A string of "Game-changing" plot twists will impact all characters, EastEnders' exec producer Sean O’Connor has teased.
He told the Metro newspaper: “What we are planning will be electric. It will involve all of the main characters – both new and legacy characters, nobody has been left out. We’re all very excited about it.”
Of course, no exact details were given away but it sounds like whatever is planned is VERY big.
O’Connor explained: “No show has ever attempted what we’re planning to do in the next few months. It’s massively ambitious – and crucially – it’s something that only EastEnders would or could do."
He continued: “We’re pulling out all the stops to make it happen.
“Certainly for EastEnders, it’ll be game-changing. But I can’t say more than that!”
Fans of the show have been speculating what's in store ever since the BBC unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming few months.
And it ended on shock scenes with Dot seen collapsed on the floor of her kitchen, prompting speculation she may be killed off.
Meanwhile, confirmed storylines coming up include the introduction of a new family called the Taylors.
"Walford residents are in for a rude awakening when the Taylors burst onto the scene this summer", teased the BBC.
