Viewing figures for Rylan Clark-Neal's new game show Babushka have dropped to fewer than 1.2 million viewers.
The new series kicked off last Monday in the 5PM slot on ITV with 2 million viewers.
Despite encouraging numbers, viewing figures have dropped in its second week.
Just 1.18 million tuned in to last night's episode, a series low of the 8 episodes to air so far.
The figures are well below what The Chase was managing before its break, with a high of 3.5 million viewers.
The series is scheduled to air week days at 5PM for the rest of May before The Chase returns.
Elsewhere in yesterday's ratings, BBC doc Contaminated Blood: The Search for the Truth averaged just 1.9 million viewers in the 9PM hour leaving Masterchef to top the night for the channel with 4.9 million viewers, up a smidgen on last Wednesday.
On ITV in the evening, Corrie had 6.4 million viewers and Emmerdale enjoyed 5.6 million, both down 200,000 viewers week-on-week.
At 9PM on ITV, Britain's Busiest Airport saw 3.6 million viewers while Tonight at the London Palladium continued with 3.2 million an hour earlier.
Over on Channel 5, a new episode of Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away! hit 1.6 million viewers, beating Confessions of a Junior Doctor on Channel 4 which had 1 million.
Later, Mind the Age Gap continued with 500,000 viewers at 10PM.
