Becky Mc Donald to face new trauma in Coronation Street

Corrie barmaid Becky Mc Donald (Katherine Kelly) is to face more strife as little Max is taken into care in an upcoming storyline for the ITV soap. Daily Star has reported that social services will arrive at the Rovers Return to take the child away after finding out why Becky and husband  Steve (Simon Gregson) are looking after the little boy.

Becky purchased half-sister Kylie's child Max last year believing that she and Steve could give the lad a better life than her thoughtless sibling. However in a twist, Kylie's new husband David Platt (Jack P. Shephard) becomes unsure about the unusual set-up.

When David realises that the unusual agreement involves a transaction, the devious lad uses his knowledge of the situation to his advantage by reporting what he knows to the social services leading to Max being taken away from the Mc Donald's.

Earlier this year, Steve was furious when he realised that Becky had stolen cash from the Alahans during the tragic tram crash with Sunita and Dev threatening to call the police after they discovered the truth behind their lack of cash.

Reports suggest that the scenes will air in early Summer time as Becky is distraught by the latest setback to her dreams of a perfect family. Are you shocked by this latest plot twist or do you think it was inevitable that the shocking truth would emerge?
