Coronation Street's Kevin Webster is set to injure himself in an upcoming storyline after some expensive equipment falls on top of him. The incident will make Kevin the second Webster to have an accident after Sophie Webster fell from a roof last month.
The incident will come after the Weatherfield mechanic splashes out on some state-of-the-art garage equipment after his recent windfall which he won on a scratch card. However according to the Daily Star, things go horribly wrong after Kevin refuses to allow workmate and former friend Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to use it as their feud continues.
Still furious at Kevin, played by Michael Le Vell, Tyrone attacks the machine which helps lift the cars with a hammer, unaware that his actions have caused a hydralic leak. Unaware of what has happened, Kevin later goes to use the machine however when it begins to go down, it takes the car with it crushing Kevin in the process.
After discovering the shocking accident, Tyrone and new housemate Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) call an ambulance as Kev's estranged wife Sally rushes to be at the side of her former spouse. Emergency services free the mechanic but whether or not they have got him out without the machine doing any real damage remains to be seen.
And with Tyrone being the unwitting hero of the hour, could the former best friends patch things up after Kevin comitted the ultimate betrayal by not only sleeping with Tyrone's wife Molly but fathering her child, baby Jack?
