Coronation Street favourite Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) is set to get a shock next month when his girlfriend Katy Armstrong (Georgia May Foote) drops a bombshell.......she's pregnant! The 17-year-old will be shocked but delighted by the news and sets forth planning their little family, just Chesney, Katy and the baby.
The shock comes at a good time for Ches as he has previously expressed interest in starting a family with Katy who he believes to be the one but according to News Of The World, Katy has already this decided as she produces a pregnancy test during a romantic meal.
Chesney will break down in tears of happiness and reportedly says: ''I can't believe how lucky I am. This is all I've ever wanted. We'll be a proper family.'' The joy won't be shared by all however as Katy's bad lad father Owen Armstrong (Ian Puleston-Davies) has form for being fiercely protective of his daughters and when this latest news filters through, he's sure to be angry.
A source for the ITV soap added: ''Things will certainly change for the little misfit everyone loved. Soon he'll be living in a flat with Katy, his dog Schmichel, with a kid on the way.'' This new plot which will air later on this year is sure to mount to the pressure on sister and guardian Fiz Stape (Jenny McAlpine) who is looking after her child Hope alone as husband and unlucky criminal John Stape (Graham Hawe) recovers from a mental breakdown.
Are you excited to see Chesney and Katy raise a baby together? Does it seem all too soon considering Ches has been in the show since the tender age of 10 or does this seem like a good realistic plot?
