Eastenders' Tanya Branning is reportedly set to make a shocking decision and flee her wedding in an upcoming storyline on the BBC soap. The mother-of-three played by Jo Joyner will run away from her wedding to Greg Jessop (Stefan Booth) after hearing that her ex-husband and father to her children Max Branning (Jake Wood) has been involved in a serious accident.
Yesterday, press spotted cast for the BBC soap out filming on loaction for Tanya's nuptials to Greg but true to form ex-husband Max will put a spanner in the works, this time unintentionally as Tanya is tied between her wedding day and sitting by her ex's bedside when he needs her the most. She wants to get married to Greg but the news throws her as she considers whether she should sit with Max in hospital for the sake of their kids.
Reports suggest that Tanya will have already exchanged her vows when she hears about Max's accident but exact details of the timeline for the wedding and what takes place in the chapel are unconfirmed.
Builder Greg who is played by ex-Hollyoaks actor Stefan Booth was introduced to the Square in Autumn last year as Tanya returned to the show following Jo Joyner's maternity leave. Recently, the couple moved back to Walford so Tanya could be closer to teenage daughters Abi and Lauren. Max is also in a relationship with classy Vanessa Gold (Zoe Lucker).
So should Tanya run away to be at Max's bedside or is it more important for her to celebrate her wedding? Tell us your views!!
