Ex-Eastender actor Michael Greco would love to join Neighbours

Beppe Di MarcoEx-Eastenders actor Micheal Greco has revealed that he would love to get a part in Australian soap Neighbours if he got the chance. The actor who left his role as female favourite  Beppe Di Marco in 2002 says he loves the show and would like to get a role.

Speaking to Australian paper  The Herald Sun ahead of the Aussie Millions Poker Champions, he said ''I am desperate to get on that show''. The actor played the role of Italian stallion Beppe on BBC's Eastenders from 1998 until his departure in 2002.

The actor became a professional poker player several years ago and operates under the name ''The Godfather'', even though he is doing well as a poker player he would still love to try hus hand at acting in Neighbours.

Greco also called for Eastenders to have a character swap episode similar to East Street from the 2010 Children In Need event which saw Coronation Street characters appear in Walford and vice versa. He said he'd love to see Walford characters in Erinsborough and Erinsborough residents in Walford.
